I’ve had had some time away, mainly because life started to crash down all around me and I couldn’t bring myself to do the things that I loved the most. But as I have been reflecting on what has happened this year along with how I would like things to be in the future, I have decided that I will focus on the things that matter the most and not let anything get in the way of achieving what I want in life. So, what does that mean for Traveling Curiosity? It means that it will blossom into the vision that I created and will hopefully expand into more than what I dreamed of.
If you have ever wondered what Traveling Curiosity was supposed to be about, well let me briefly explain. I originally thought of the title because I am curious about different things and that curiosity varies among different mediums and across different countries, hence Traveling Curiosity. I wanted to feed into the curiosities and share them with anyone who might wanted to discover something new and to document my own experiences.
So, for this upcoming year, I decided to fully challenge myself. I am going to write and practice a language every day, participate in a weekly photography challenge, and go somewhere or try something new every week. Writing, reading, photography, travel and languages are my passions and what will fuel this blog. This will also help me to continue to get out of my shell and explore life. I also want to learn new skills and get better at the skills that I have learned over the years, which include graphic design, lettering, coding, ect. There are so many amazing things that we can do and learn, so why should we limit ourselves?
Starting January 1st, expect a new post about different topics. I don’t have a set schedule for certain topics yet, but in due time I shall along with posting every day. I’m excited for what is to come and can’t wait to share it all with you. Oh! I shall be heading to Hawaii and New Zealand during the second half of the year and I cannot wait to share these two beautiful places with you.
Here’s to 2018 and a good riddance to 2017. May this year be the year we continue to grow, discover, and hold on to our humanity and sanity during these crazy times.
